Jesus Leads Me; He Is My Life

The truth is Jesus is Lord. He is the Shepherd. He is Life. Without Him, we would be in darkness, blind and unable to see.

As humans/men, we are so lost. Sometimes we don’t even like to acknowledge that we are lost to anybody else, God or even ourselves.

For a long time, I have been like that. Today God is showing to me that He never leaves His sheep. I really don’t need to be afraid. I have my Shepherd. He leads me to safety. He is good. He is Christ in me. I just need to trust in Him and listen.

Praise God all the day long!

John 10:1-5 KJV

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

Jesus (the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) is the True Gospel

Jesus (the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) is the True Gospel.

*I set the title purposely in this way, because of the many false deceptions out there in the world, and people labeling anything hideous and abominable to God with His name. Wake up. You might actually be living in a stronghold, blinded by the deception of this world.*

There are many false teachings by man, heresies, witchcraft, and manipulations of the truth in the world.   All of that is an abomination to the Lord Jesus Christ.  We know that God came into the world to set man/His people apart.  It is only through Jesus that we are sanctified.  When Israel was made into a small nation (that much later grew to become a large and successful nation), God ensured that all of His promises would be fulfilled. He called Israel His children (Exodus 2:25), and He walked with them in Spirit (Exodus 13:21-22), leading them through the desert with much abundance (Exodus 16:4; Isaiah 49:10).

Jesus did not forget the rest of the world, because through His Seed (Jesus in the flesh/The Word became flesh) a new covenant would be made.  First, the Law of Moses had to come and be established in people’s hearts.  He knew that people would fall, and would not be able to obey because of their sinful/rebellious nature.  That was why there was a tabernacle made in order that people’s sins would be forgiven through a blood sacrifice.  There had to be a cost, and creature must die in order for there to be true life (meaning life with God).  God does not tolerate sin, nor is He partial.  If you have sinned, you must repent.  You must be sanctified, and it cannot be done by yourself either — only God can sanctify you.  Only He can heal you, and give you life.

If you have to ask yourself, “What do you mean only God can give me life?” then you need to ask a follow up question, “Do I have peace? Do I know what will happen to me after I die? Do I want to live in a lie? Do I know true love (not the kind of lies you find out in the world, like having sex, giving away money, saying ‘I love you’ and then hurting them the next, or making promises and breaking them, or giving but in the heart you actually don’t want to, etc.)? Do YOU care about your neighbor?”

I had to ask myself many of these questions and more, because that’s the point of becoming an adult, the point of being human.  You ask questions, unless you really think that everyone follows everything that they have been told (which I think would not make us human in the first place).  Everyone has rebelled in some form (stolen, cheated, lied, abused someone, oppressed someone, judged, said evil things, dishonored people, etc.). I definitely have.

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

If only Jesus can give us life, then are truly dead people (walking zombies — so you really don’t need to wait for the world to end to witness this already all around you), who don’t know where to go in life, don’t know what is waiting ahead of us after death, and don’t know how to live.  Period.  If we knew how to live, our world would look SO different.  So point is: we don’t have Jesus, we don’t have life.

How do I know this, and how does this tie back into “Jesus is the True Gospel”?  Jesus said ‘unless you are born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God’ to a man named Nicodemus (who acknowledged and praised Jesus, recognizing that Jesus has the presence of God or is of God.)  He was hungry, spiritually hungry, for he is dead in the spirit and recognized the truth when He saw it.  How did he recognized THE TRUTH?  He was LOOKING for TRUTH.  The Bible shows that Nicodemus was a well-educated man, one of privilege, a Pharisee, and a ruler of the Jews went looking for Jesus at night.  Jesus knew and had the ANSWER that he was looking for.

*For the hungry: We truly must be ‘born again’ in Spirit with the Spirit of God living inside of us, in order to see the kingdom of Heaven; in other words, we must be born of His water, blood, and Spirit — Jesus Christ/His Spirit in us.*

John 3:2-3 –The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Many people want to look for answers in everything but refuse to GO TO JESUS themselves.  People love to listen to things that will make them feel excited for a moment, laugh, connect with another person…essentially, their looking ends in vain. They are looking for vain glory, a deceptive looking/seeking that is only for the self.  But God already knew that.  He knew that we would suffer and struggle and literally die every day in our sin; there are already people out there, kids even, who are struggling with pornography, depression, suicide, anxiety, and all kinds of mental and health problems.  But really, it is a spiritual problem.  Everything else that comes out of death in the spirit are manifestations of the evil and the lie that is left in this corrupted (dead) world.

Do you see yourself in this? Do you know what sin is, and how serious of a crime/trespass it is unto God’s holiness? Even though you think you worship nothing and call yourself an atheist, do you worship money, or food, or sex, or people, etc?  That is sin!  No one can escape God’s wrath!

But there is hope, and it’s a narrow but faithful and true hope: Jesus.  Only in Jesus do we receive His incorruptible Seed, Spirit of Christ, and life in us.

Romans 1:22-32 – Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Jesus said He came to save sinners — that’s us/all people.

1 Timothy 1:15 –  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

There’s nothing that could hold you down when you believe in Jesus for HE OVERCAME THE WORLD.  Who is in the world and tries to govern the world for a time?  That’s Satan!  Jesus overcome all principalities and darkness, because He is light. So when you believe in Jesus, you would have the LIGHT (Spirit of God) manifested in you.  Where there is Light, darkness cannot enter.  Truly, you would have a DEEP peace that surpasses all understanding, and there is none like it, because there is no one like Jesus, my Lord!

John 14:30 – Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

When Jesus died on the cross, he said that IT IS FINISHED.  He has come into the world of evil and sin, revealed His name before all, and given up His Spirit to all those who believe.  I love this part.  He gave up His Spirit when He died.  He had to die, so that we could live — that we would receive His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, inside of us.  This is the new covenant: Jesus Christ in all believers.  His obedience is to His own perfect law, Holiness and Pure and Good (God Himself) that we could have true and everlasting life WITH HIM in heaven!  This IS AMAZING GOOD, AMAZING GRACE!

Jesus said that we are to love one another, as He loves us.

John 15:12-13  – This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Love literally means receiving the the free gift of life from Jesus through our faith/belief in Him that He indeed is God and that He indeed did die for us.  And then, we give this free gift of life (Jesus is the Gospel) onto others by sharing with them of this news of salvation, praying day and night, not resisting evil, and doing good always.

I love that I am never alone, because God is always with me (inside of me) through His Spirit.  He teachings me all things that man can never know, unless He reveals them to him.  I ask for many things for God to teach me, and that is how I receive on a daily basis.  This is how I stop relying on my own understanding, how I die to myself, how I allow Him to transform me into His likeness.  I often ask the Lord to help me love Him and love others (neighbors and brethren), and He teaches me.

Today, I have so much peace, love, joy, gentleness, patience, kindness, goodness, self-control, faith, and meekness. I’m still asking for more of these gifts of the Spirit, and also long-suffering.

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Let’s be realistic: faith life with Jesus is SO GOOD, but because many people could not recognize God in the flesh, so they too will not recognize His children.  Those who have the Spirit of Christ in them are born of God. He said that His sheep hear His voice, and they follow Him (for He is the great Shepherd).  He always lead us to rest in Him for His yolk is light and everything of Him is good.

Jesus warned His disciples/followers that there would be persecutions in the flesh. People will mock you, try to hurt you, say all kinds of lies about you, because they don’t believe in Jesus (and because they are of this world).  The world has blinded them, thinking that what they find in the world is “good” is in fact the way to death. All things within the world leads to death, destruction, and hell.  Only Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. If we live for man, and think that we can get to heaven, we have deceived ourselves.  If we think that we could work and store up our treasures on earth, and all of these things will go with us into heaven, we have been deceived.  If we think that staying inside a church and doing as many Bible studies as much as possible will lead us into heaven, we have been lied to by Satan himself.  There’s only one way, one narrow way, a way that many will fall away from, because they fear for their flesh, things that they know and understand in this world; but God said to trust in Him and to take up our cross and follow Him daily.

We all have a choice, and everyone has been given the same way to Jesus.  We must repent (turn away from our sin completely, asking God for help and forgiveness), and choose life in Jesus (asking for the baptism of the Living Water, His Spirit in us).

Jesus is the answer, The Beginning and Ending.

For those who already have the Lord Jesus in their life, keep clinging onto Him and stay in prayer/love with Jesus. He is our portion, our everything. Don’t let Him go. He is pure light, love, and good. He is Faithful and True. He said so Himself. Believe in Him, and no one else. I am only a messenger.

For all (Jews and Gentiles):

Psalm 25:3 – Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

For Jews:

Isaiah 49:22-23 – Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

God, The Lord Jesus, be praised forevermore.  He is the True Gospel.

Jesus Christ is God

In a matter of three weeks, I was transformed to know the Lord Jesus and my faith strengthened.  I give the Lord all thanks and praise for He alone draws us near to Him.

In the past few years, I battled with trust in the Lord (hence, the reason why I have not been posting) due to my sinful nature.  I was watching a few videos on YouTube, and was led to a video called “Jesus Christ is God.”  I watched the entire thing, and God’s truth was washing me so much inside of myself, that I had much to look into and ask God to reveal to me.  I prayed to the Lord and He revealed to me who He is.  Yet, my faith was still shaky because I was still coming out of the stronghold of religion.  However, I remembered that I could not look back into my sin, and just continued to trust in Jesus, and prayed again.  According to Luke 9:62, “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”  There is only one hope, and that is in Jesus.  The world offers nothing.  I can do nothing without the Lord Jesus Christ.  He says so. John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Here is what Jesus revealed to me, and made it so personal that I have so much confidence in Him that He is Lord of my life.

  • Jesus is the name of both the Father and the Son (John 5:43 – I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.).
  • Jesus is the Word of God come in the flesh (1 John 4:3 – And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.).
  • Jesus is the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Christ, Spirit of God) (John 14:18 – I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.).
  • Jesus is the Savior of the world, because only He could lay down His life and take it up again (John 10:18 – No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.).
  • The name of Jesus has power, for power comes from Him (Philippians 2:10-11 –That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.)
  • We can do nothing, unless we abide in Him (John 15:5 – I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.).
  • Jesus commands us to love God first, and then love our neighbors as ourselves.  We must be willing to lay down our lives for others.  That is part of the trial that many people will not be able to go through when following Jesus, but that is exactly what He desires for us to do (Matthew 22:36-40).
  • Jesus is the only God that sits on the throne, the Lamb that was crucified, and worthy to be praised! (Revelations 4:1 – And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne; Revelations 5:12 – Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.)
  • Jesus is the Father of lights (Psalms 84:11 – For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly; 2 Corinthians 4:6 – For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ; Revelations 22:5 – And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.)
  • God has many names, but the name above all names is the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:9-11 – Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.)

Below are some ways that you know you are living with the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Jesus, Spirit of Christ, Spirit of God) inside of you.

– Ephesians 5:1-21

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

– Luke 9:23

23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

I personally love this verse so much, because it just shows how much Jesus loves us to reveal to use that He is our everlasting Father.  To those who are true orphans, widows, or even the most broken-hearted (that’s me), we have a Lord who is also our Father.  Also, don’t forget that you can go to Him for anything!  He listens to those who loves Him, and wants only the best for His children.  I often ask Him to help me with everything, even with my relationships or just how to please Him throughout the day in general.

– Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus alone is God Almighty!  He alone is worthy of worship and praise all the day and night!  There is none like Him!  For He alone is good, and He alone is Father and Creator all the heavens and earth.  He is the beginning and the ending, the Alpha and Omega, and was and is, and is to come (Revelations 1:8)!  Hallelujah!

At the end of the day, are you bearing good fruits for the Lord?  Do you know Him?  Let today be the day to let Jesus be Lord of your life.  Remember, once you confess that you believe in Him, you must truly believe, in order to be saved and receive the Holy Spirit.  God is God to be feared.  He will separate His sheep from the goats.  No one can lie to Him, because He sees all of our hearts.  His sheep knows and hears His voice.  You must repent!

Romans 10:9-10

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Matthew 25:31-46

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

God bless you!  If you are interested in my testimony, please reach out and comment.

How Realities Merge

1.My realities begin with thoughts
In the form of words
Consumed with ideas
Transitions and insights

2.Sometimes I’d like to think
Of myself as a traveler
I’d speed time up
I’d be everywhere in seconds

3.Then I’d wake up
Back into another reality
Where I am a teacher
Teaching students about life

4.On weekends
Another reality appears
Where I’d run my mouth
To talk with my mom

5.As a sister and friend
I find myself loving
People who’s been there
For me always

6.I’d smile and say
Nice things to strangers
I’ve never met
And enjoy a small conversation

7.Reality becomes
What I make of my life
And how I choose
To respond and react

8.In all of my realities
God is always there
To love and mold me
He helps me learn

9.I am a line of stories
Made using life experiences
As my thread
To make a warm cover

10.I am covered by the
Blood of the Lamb
Dressed in majestic clothes
Admitted into Jesus’s Reality

11.I am less than
His Almighty
As my reality comes
From God’s Reality

12.We are who God
Has made us to be
And we are redeemed
Under Christ Jesus

13.Hallelujah
Let praise be on our lips
For the Risen King
Who gave up His life

14.Let His Reality be
Our reality
For we are saved
From all condemnation

15.Thank You Father
For Your Reality
And Your Words
And Your Thoughts

Because true change starts with submission of heart

There are broken souls
Foul mouths, unspoken roles
That pressed into thoughts
And turned into untamed actions
No discipline, no righteousness
Just more pains and sorrow

Then there are the few
Whose stories seem to differ
Than the rest of the world
Because of their peaceful hearts
Compared to all of nature’s worst
And this makes it scandalous

There is no way that such peace
Exists when everyone is at each
Other’s throats for something done
Wrong, with more innocent deaths
Than actions to correct such wrongs
Which makes believing in Jesus nonsensical

Perhaps instead of asking the why’s
Ask the how’s instead
Because that is HOW you will
find the WHY to such nonsensical
Stories of a holy man dying
In the name of love and glory to Father God

This Jesus who died had resurrected
To life so that all could have new life
Through faith come blessings
And lessons in the Spirit to form new Understand and a renewal of mind and heart

Freedom and peace are aligned
With harmony that shows exactly
How we are meant to live
So that all may thrive instead of dying out
Due to an incompleteness found inside

Appeal to man and you get nothing
In return but find love and beauty
When man steps aside from pride
To willingly let in and welcome God inside
Because true change starts with submission of heart

Blow Mighty Breath of God

I have very little personal experience with death in general.  I have heard of people dying, and I questioned how it must feel when someone so close to you has been ripped away from you.

The first time that I ever felt such grief over losing someone was when I heard about my friend Alice Cheng passing away.  I never knew her that well, but she and I spent enough time together for me to become friends with her.  When I first heard that she was gone, I had no idea how to respond.  Eventually, this feeling of loss began to hit me and I started to grieve.

Sometimes I think that I am somewhat too indifferent from the world.  Most people do not expect to see this about me, since they have been led to believe that I care a lot.  That is true, but I am only human.  There are times when I don’t know how to care about someone close to me, or do what is right towards them.

How can you tell someone who doesn’t know anything about love to love someone?  That was what I felt growing up.  I knew nothing — not an ounce — of love.

How can you tell someone what to feel about losing someone, especially when human minds can become particular about who matters most to them and who doesn’t?

I know that God is not particular about anyone.  He loves and loves all.  It is we who choose to love Him or not.  That is the difference among each person.  We all have a stake in how we love ourselves, one another, and in Father God.

Today at church, I was singing this song, Blow Mighty Breath of God, for the first time. What I really enjoy about attending church is that I get to listen and learn about so many new songs that I would have have ever been able to find on my own.

I have been very fortunate to live a life where I can be surrounded with so many different types of people.  I have seen people change their mindset and lifestyle, because of their faith in God.  These are the miracles that I witness for myself.  I am blessed.  I know that I am.  I am so blessed.

I know this to be true because my experiences are extraordinary.

There has not been a need for me to grieve, because both of my parents are still alive, my sisters are still with me, and many people that I call friends are healthy and doing well.  I have nothing to complain about.

Yet today I felt grief, and it made me reflect back to the time that I had lost my friend, Alice.  I did not expect to have this type of feeling, but I know that Jesus’s sacrifice means so much that sometimes our small minds cannot grasp its significance.  That is because we sometimes tend to take things for granted, because oftentimes we would rather live comfortable lives.  We complain when things become too hard, or when things are not going our way.

I find that life without God is so meaningless.  There is no joy, and no real need for existence except existence for the self.  Since I had such self-hatred and self-rejection from a very young age, I do not believe that anything for the self will have mattered to me.

To find that God loves me so much, to the point of Him offering His own life for my unmistakably sinful ways, I feel like I am wanted and so much more valuable than all the Earth’s riches and jewels.  I thank God that He has not given up on me; and for Him to separate Himself from His only beloved Son, in order that I could receive new life.  I am grateful — so incredibly grateful.

The grief that I felt today came from the heart.  The mind can only understand so much of what is happening, but the heart knows because of the Holy Spirit, who understands Truth.

Holy Spirit, thank You for showing to me more and more of who God the Father is.

I love how You use music and Wisdom to help me understand Truth.

Blessed are those who are faithful, and those who abide in Your love.  Scripture tells us that we are to seek You first.  I want to seek your face.  I want to see You.

Bringing Back the Meaning of Praise

There is much to praise to God.  He deserves our praise because He is so good!  Nothing that is ever good should ever be left unmentioned; but when it is, it becomes a real shame.

I find that I praise God even when these good things are not happening to me, but to others around me. I do this because I know how good God is, and I know because He is good to me.  He treats me with such compassion and love that it does not make any sense NOT to be excited when others are benefiting from the same kind of love and compassion!  It’s kind of like, “You saw that right?? You see it?? I’m not alone!! Haha! I’m not alone! He is so real because I’m not the only one who saw it and felt it for myself. He is moving in your life, too! I knew that He was real!” That is the kind of reaction that I get when I am witnessing God’s power over others and my life. I want to rejoice with other people, because I want them to know also how much God wants the very best for them.

I want to provide a couple of examples of God’s Grace through some my own eye-witnessing accounts of His love for people I have recently met.

The first one is of a woman who was in need of a lot of emotional healing and peace in her life. She did not know how to get it, but she knew that God would not fail her. That was why she kept on knocking at God’s doors and did it incessantly, because she knew that God is a loving God. She called on God’s children and asked to pray for her and with her. I was fortunate to be one of them.

Every time that I saw her on Sunday after service, I would pray for her. I listened to her stories first, and eventually asked her to pray. She willingly opened herself up to prayers and I prayed for change in her life. Over the next several weeks, there was not much change but finally one day she came up to me and had an incredibly different outlook on life. I was taken aback because she did not have the same negative and hopeless mindset that she did before. I was so blessed to see the fruit of beautiful Holy Spirit move in her life. It was such a humbling moment and beautiful time to witness God’s Grace in both hers and my life. She blessed me that day with her new mindset.

The second story that I would like to share is on a man whom I recently met. He used to attend the church that I go to now, but stopped going to church due to personal issues. When he came to church, he sat in the back row. I kept looking over at him. I noticed that he looked over to me. I didn’t know why I kept wanting to talk or look at him. Little did I know that he felt the same way, too.

What was interesting about this experience was that I had to go up to the front to sing, and thus thought that I may not get a chance to talk to him. After service was over, I noticed that he was getting prayers from an elder, and I stuck around. I was standing around for a bit in the aisle when he was about to pass me by. Instead of just leaving, he came straight up to me, and that was when we started talking.

We shared about different topics, and I kept on persisting to see where he was coming from. He shared his personal life with me, a complete stranger, and I with him. Eventually I asked, “Are you looking for something?” He explained to me his story. I asked him if I could pray for him, and he said, “Yes!”

Little did I know that the next time that I saw him, he would walk up to me to tell me, “thank you.” The prayers that he received helped change his mindset so much that he is now at peace. I am so happy and I told Him that it is all God. His love truly endures forever. He gave me a hug, and asked me, “Is there another clone of you?” I laughed and said, “No, there’s only one of me.”

The last story is of two Christian brothers, who came together because God loves them so much and they love the Lord. One brother I met from New Life church and the other from a painting event near Camden, NJ. I met them both pretty recently with one a few months longer than the other. I talked to the brother from New Life and he shared with me his personal interests and dream in making a Christian show. I told him that I will keep him in mind. Then I met the other brother for a couple of hours and learned that he was really big into filmmaking, and asked if he would be interested in collaborating with another fellow brother. He said, “Yes.” I helped them exchange phone numbers to communicate, and they have finally connected. God is good!

I met with the New Life brother on Wednesday and he came up to tell me the good news and to thank me. I just praised God. I was so thrilled at the way that God loves and works in people’s lives. I am so thrilled because God keeps His promises. The New Life brother has been waiting for years and now His prayers are coming to fruition. It is so beautiful to see and witness for myself. It makes me want to love God so much more and humble myself before Him.

Every day is a day worth praising.

My students deserve love and prayers. I know that prayers change lives, so I must pray and pray to praise!

God is changing lives every day.

I have a need to do so much more: to give and sacrifice where others are lacking.  My heart aches for so much change in the world, and aches to do more. When I saw this video, I was filled with a heartache and a thought of “this is what I should be doing…” How I have missed out on giving and walking in the world to encounter more of God’s Grace. But I will wait in patience as He knows the time that I must leave, and I wait on Him. When the time comes, I cannot look backwards but fasten my eyes on the one true God’s calling for me. I thank the Father for letting me be a witness of His love and a follower of Christ.

sobbing weeping crying

are these a way of calling

when there are no words

left unspoken

completely broken

in pieces they come

but in unity they become

i want to know

how to hear from the Lord

how to decrease

so that He can be made more

Holy Spirit come

You are welcomed here

make my heart Your home

i thought i heard You

when i asked You

if i should turn around

to go back to a person unfound

You put a burden on my heart

to turn my car around

and i did so in obedience

now when i went back

i saw no man nor woman

no signs of the car

so i asked, ‘why?’

You replied, ‘by you turning

around you saved that person’s life.’

i was perplexed as to how

God revealed that obedience is key

to small things left unexplained

one little thing that you do

is one big thing to the Father in Heaven

rely on Him fully

with a heavy heart that yearns

and is willing to hear

i want to change still

and grow closer to the Lord

i want to hear still

from the Voice that made me

i want to feel still

the Presence of the Almighty

i cannot wait to receive

i have given up

on understanding everything

on trying for man

on being who i am not

on letting my failures be my identity

on accepting all that comes

except on Hope renewed

looking at where i am now

i know that i have much

and realize how little things

build up to greater things

i am a little thing

but God wants me

because i am so worth it

i say this not to boast

but in revelation

of how grand and full of wisdom

is this plan that God

has in store for each

and every one of us

because He knows all

God does right

and He expects us to do right

in order for us to know Him

because He is a righteous God

so I must live right

in order to see more of His Light

in my own life

I have little to offer

I have little to offer
But whatever little I have
I give it all to you

I have little to offer
With my measly brain
And understanding of love

I have little to offer
With the body that I wear
And the words that I declare

I have little to offer
As I am impure by nature
But God makes me good

I have little to offer
But what I know to be true
I bring with honor to you

I have little to offer
But every little thing I carry
I fine-tuned them well

I have little to offer
Knowing that I make mistakes
That these things may not be much

I have little offer
Because my life is not my own
I give it back to the One who sacrificed

I have little to offer
Because the love that I feel
Stems not from me

I have little to offer
Because anything that I do
I do out of love for you

Will you accept my offers?
Though little I have
I bring them all to you

His Love Sustains Us

I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” (NIV; Psalm 16:2)

This is true. There is nothing good about me, not unless I have Christ in my life. I am given new and true life. Spiritually, I am alive and it feels so good!  Without God in my life, I am a shattered mess.  I am a now a new creation; I am working with a new mindset and a new lifestyle.

At the moment, I am still working on myself. There are people that I still need to get back to, and things that I need to do. But I will work on one thing at a time, so that I can be sure that I am heading in the right direction.

When I play the song, “Joy to the World,” on the guitar, I become filled with so much joy.  I do not know what it is about the song.  It is so simple, but the lyrics itself is brings much joy.  There is much joy to be had because our King is alive.

My brain responds to the lyrics and instrument very well.  I feel rather good after I play the guitar.  My fingers are starting to become a little numb (aha) but it feels so good! xD

Ah, my heart is filled with so much joy tonight.  I am in love with who God is, and I thank Him for the peace and serenity in my life.

I have such lovely sisters.  I am lucky to be able to spend time with them, and share my life with them.  We were not always the best people when we were around one another, but tonight has been a good night.  I am incredibly blessed to have my mom, sisters, and loving people around me.  I count all of my blessings and praise God!

I am also blessed to have another friend in my life, who I have been talking to a lot more.  He’s been very supportive of my situation.  We find a way to help one another out, and that in itself is very rewarding.

God, you are AMAZING!  I pray that everyone will feel and know of your goodness!  You are alive, and working in my life.  You are the best Father any girl can ever have, and you definitely keep your promises to your children.  I am proud of my Father in Heaven. 😀 (Hahahaha) <333333
